H. Jackson (Richmond, VA)

Pros: As a VA van driver, I get many calls to addresses I have no idea where they may be. After purchasing this Street Pilot, I am very well pleased with the results. For the price, I am amazed at the ease of use and the accuracy of the unit. I have a GPS system in my Lexus, and this portable Street Pilot is very easy to use and get used to. It does not speak the street name, but it does display the next street turn on the screen. I couldn't be more pleased with this little unit.

Cons: The battery life does not seem to last very long. I usually keep it plugged into the lighter.

D. Gifford (Flint, MI)

Pros: This is my first GPS. Great out of box experience. I just plugged it in, suctioned it to my windshield, and after the one time wait of finding sats, I was on my way. It is very accurate. On the front end, I couldn't ask for a nicer interface. I love how it pulls up whatever is near you via 5 million point of interest. Makes grabbing a bite to eat a bit nicer when in unfamiliar territory. I also learned about some new POIs in my area. This has pretty much an exclusive touch screen interface with the exception of volume and power. This made me nervous at first but it works great. The touch screen is dead on accurate. No fat fingering wrong buttons. Turn by turn voice directions rock.

Cons: Screen refreshes are a bit sub-par when browsing the maps in non-traveling mode. Too bad the screen wasn't a bit brighter. Also a longer power cord would be nice, or maybe one that is modular with 3 lengh segments that connect together would be a nice feature. Here in Flint MI there are a lot of businesses on the out, and places that closed years ago are still listed in POIs. I wish that was cleaned up a bit.

Other Thoughts: Very solid GPS. Love the accuracy of the touch screen and the preloaded maps. Good build quality too. It does not seem flimsy or breakable at all.

T. Thompson (Philadelphia, PA)

Pros: Perfect size; great screen clarity even in the sunlight; extremely user friendly menu (any dumbie can use this right out of the box without looking at the manual); very well designed and good looking unit and no problem with the windshield mount (holds solid); Only had it for a week and I can see this thing is gonna be a great little toy and way more than a toy as it's very functional; It's absolutely amazing how they can fit so much stuff in such a little unit; I've been driving around our county; Wasn't aware there was so much stuff everywhere that I've just missed; And this thing is a phone book too. Not just the place and it's whereabouts; but you get the phone number and all kinds of notice before a turn; it finds the sats almost right away; I did a lot of research before purchasing a gps; glad I did as I think I've found the best one; It was a toss between a Navman, Tomtom or Garmin in the end; I got the most for my money with the Garmin C330; no regrets. Buy it.

Cons: I want another one for the other
